Carl Sutter, creator of Teletoyland.com, built Sandbox 2.0 using 80/20 materials purchased on eBay. Teletoyland.com is a fun and educational website that gives users all over the world the ability to control a physical device in Carl's garage from their computer at home.
Sandbox 2.0 is an XY Table that when programmed, can plot a line in the sand and can illuminate your drawing in various colors. 80/20 was used to create the frame and rails of the Sandbox 2.0 and Carl let us know that the 80/20 T-slotted aluminum made it simple to mount add-on components.
