While our 8 foot robotic stretch-wrap machine helps us protect the product during shipping... we used our product to protect hands and fingers from coming into contact with moving parts and pinch-points of this machine, without interfering with productivity.
Our safety solution was simple. By constructing a rectangular guard with wire mesh, anchor fasteners, and 10 series extrusion, we were able to keep fingers out while still allowing visibility in case of malfunction. Our custom in-house solution makes reloading of stretch-wrap materials effortless. 80/20 products including panels, hinges and latches allowed us to incorporate door which swings away giving access to the feeder.
Wire mesh rectangular panels are easy to design and can be custom built and sized to be used wherever a simple, safeguard is required! We welcome you to modify our design to fit your exact needs
