80/20 Case Study - Theodolite Stand
Using 80/20's 15 Series with align-a-grooves, our friends at Protobox created an adjustable Theodolite Stand used in flight simulator cockpits.
A Theodolite (the instrument mounted on top) measures the angles in vertical planes and it needed to be adjustable for use with different modules. This lightweight and portable design uses the 80/20 T-slotted aluminum, coupled with linear breaks, to give it a vertical throw of up to 30 inches.
